Process integrator Frends is now proud to announce that we have achieved Gold status for Application Integration and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Competencies from Microsoft. To achieve the new Gold Certification, Frends had to demonstrate in depth skills with Microsoft technologies and a proven ability to meet customers’ needs.
“We wanted to update our competencies well ahead the deadline”, says Frends’ CTO Pekka Jaarinen. “This status is a clear sign for both our customers as well as us at Frends that our know-how meets the international standards set by Microsoft. Since the new Gold Partner status is much more difficult to achieve and retain this accreditation is even more valuable to us”, Jaarinen continues.
Microsoft Partner Program was revised in fall 2010. In the new competence-based status system partner companies may apply for Gold or Silver status in 28 different competencies. New accreditation replaces the previous Gold Certified, Certified and Registered Member grading. All members have to upgrade to the new system by the end of 2011.
