Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy increases efficiency with Frends iPaaS

As a leading provider of logistics solutions, Mitsubishi Logisnext was able to optimise its processes and increase efficiency thanks to Frends.

Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy (MLE), a leading provider of logistics solutions, has reduced its development time by an impressive 50 per cent thanks to the introduction of the Frends platform. The integration of this iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solution from Finnish software house Frends has helped MLE to streamline processes and strengthen its position as a subsidiary of global industrial group Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI).

"With 20 centralized systems ranging from HR to ERP, there was a need for a robust tool that would guarantee a seamless, reliable flow of data," says Head of IT Toni Koski about the challenges. *"This step was crucial for improving our operational processes."
* MLE made the transition from an ERP focus to a multi-system model to meet growing business needs. The goal was to find a platform that offered scalability and flexibility and aligned with the company's integration goals. Frend's iPaaS was chosen to ensure accurate data transfer and robust operational control.

"The introduction of Frends iPaaS has been transformative for MLE. The implementation of the platform was crucial for the automation of core processes.", Tom Schröder Regional Director DACH, Frends

For example, the routing of incoming orders and the rationalization of truck configurations. Processes that used to be manual and error-prone are now automated. This has resulted in significant time and labour savings, particularly in the acceptance of truck orders and the creation of configurations. In addition, customer communication has been improved by providing production status updates in a timely manner.

__Integration of centralized systems __

All business process systems at MLE are connected via Frends to utilize logging and maintenance functions and to ensure availability and traceability of transactions. Typical implementation times for new integration between systems are several months, with the fastest proof of concept (POC) approaches being realized within a few weeks.
