things that

we do

Frends has more features than any other integration software out there. Explore, ideate, and if anything is unclear - hit us up at any time. This library is bound to grow over time.

Monitoring Rules Engine

Frends contains a comprehensive monitoring rules engine, which can be used to create and trigger alerts based on the processed business data.

The aim of the Monitoring Rules Engine is to provide a top-down monitoring approach across multiple datasets and integration solutions or APIs. This is achieved in Frends by configuring which data or data dimensions you would like to monitor.

After promoting the data during the development process you can access that data dimension in the Monitoring Rules Engine to configure different high- and low-end limitations for said data.

The difference between Monitoring Rules and other monitoring data is that the Monitoring Rules are evaluated on the frends UI and are not dependant on the Frends Agent. Additionally the monitoring rules are capable of combining monitoring data across multiple process instances and multiple processes.

Example Use Cases

For example you could choose to promote the file names of all files processed through frends across all integration processes and then you could configure monitoring rules to check that atleast 100 ORDERS files are processed successfully through frends every 24 hours.

Another great example would be to promote Order Value data dimension in all Frends integration processes that recieve incoming orders and then configure a monitoring rule which sums the total order values for each hour and set a rule that atleast 50 000€ worth of orders should be recieved ever 24 hours.
