Version Control

All Frends solutions have a built in version control system in place, to track changes to your integrations and to manage the lifecycle of existing integrations.

Automatic Versioning

Whenever you save or create a new integration in Frends, Frends automatically generates a new compiled code package for the integration and inserts the change entry to the internal version control.

This process automatically increases the last version digit of a solution by one and is used to internally manage process versions. You also have the option of manually incrementing the major or minor versioning information for any integration.

Viewing the Version History

You can also access the version history of each process to see where each version is currently deployed, who made the change and when and an optional change description:

Deploying Versions

You can now use the same versioning functionality to deploy or roll back versions between your Frends Enviornments such as Development, Test and Production.
