BN Bank focuses on providing the best customer experience possible. The digital bank serves its customers by phone and email and excels at delivering short handling times. One of the cornerstones of the bank's operations is cost-efficiency, which they aim to strengthen with Frends iPaaS. The integration platform supplements BN Bank's current RPA solution, which automates repetitive tasks.

"We used to rely on external agencies in our API development. With Frends iPaaS, maintaining and making changes for APIs is faster, more cost-efficient, and in our own hands. You don't have to be particularly a developer to use low-code Frends iPaaS," says Vegar Kruke, IT Manager at BN Bank.

Due to strict bank regulations, BN Bank was extremely thorough in its selection process and compared three similar solutions.

"The discussions, risk analysis, and proof of concept work took a long time as we wanted to ensure making the right decision. We value that Frends is a perfect-sized European company with which we have a direct relationship. Compared to the other two iPaaS vendors, Frends has the most predictable pricing and access to deep-level product support," says Kruke.

The deployment of Frends iPaaS begins with replacing an API solution for BN Bank's CRM system, HubSpot. Then, the goal is to replace some of the external APIs to improve communication with partners.

"We are happy to cooperate with such a forerunner in the banking industry that shares our values in fairness and has a modern way of thinking. Together, we can inspire other organizations in highly regulated fields to renew their architecture and gain significant results while ensuring the highest security," says Jukka Rautio, Head of Frends.
