Frends will be joining KommITS Digitalization Days in Sundsvall on May 8th – 10th as a gold partner. KommITS is organized twice a year and the theme in May aims to create common conditions for digitizing welfare in a more efficient, faster, and smarter way.

One of the great potentials of the digitization of public administration, according to the Agency for Digital Government (DIGG), lies in being able to share common solutions. The greatest benefit can be achieved when systems work together or when solutions can be reused, and data can be shared. Several Swedish municipalities have chosen to move their integrations to fast-growing Frends iPaaS. How the municipalities use the platform varies, it may be about internal management of personnel, salary payments, building permits, or automation in the education sector. Frends has also developed a library of integrations so that municipalities in Sweden can help each other in spreading ready-made solutions.

Frends iPaaS is a gold partner at KommITS Digitalization Days in Sundsvall 8 – 10 May. Tomas Beijar, Technical Sales Manager at Frends Sweden, will host a breakout session together with Östersund municipality on how Östersund future-proofs its integration solution.

“Frends iPaaS can help municipalities streamline and modernize their digitization journeys. Our library for municipalities, which is a collection of ready-made integrations that enables municipalities to spread solutions and help each other, is something that saves both time and money. In addition, our geographical location means that we have a local presence and are close at hand when the municipalities need help. We look forward to discussing this further with Östersund municipality at KommITS,” says Tomas Beijar, Technical Sales Manager at Frends.

“We are happy to be a part of KommITS together with Frends iPaaS. We now have a modern integration platform in place, which means that we are a more digitized municipality and that we can offer our residents even more digitized services. Frends means more flexibility than before and can assist our operations, which is very valuable,” says David Hällgren, Team Manager IT at Östersund municipality.

The theme for KommITS in May is Collective Digitization – Meeting welfare's competence challenge. It aims to develop common conditions for digitizing welfare in a more efficient, faster, and smarter way. The focus is on how to face the competence challenge with the support of digitization, avoid supplier lock-ins, get rid of legacy, and create new ways forward.
