Stockholm House of Culture & City Theatre (Swedish: "Kulturhuset stadsteatern") was looking for a Nordic integration supplier with fast support and local staff on-site in Stockholm. The other requirement for the platform was that it needed to provide communication between applications. After long research and an implementation period, the choice fell on the integration platform Frends from HiQ.
"The fact that we get another customer in the Swedish market clearly shows the importance of integrations for a smooth workflow today. Frends means a simplification that frees up a lot of time of organizations," says Jukka Rautio, Head of HiQ's Frends.
Stockholm House of Culture & City Theatre has previously worked with larger, fully integrated system solutions, but in recent years has changed its strategy to focus on "best-of-breed," meaning the best product in each application area. They also needed a platform to communicate between the products already in use. After testing Frends during an implementation period, the choice was simple. In addition, Stockholm House of Culture & City Theatre already had a partnership with HiQ, which was another reason why the decision to go with Frends came so naturally.
Private cloud platforms, on-prem system solutions, or cloud applications all have their advantages, but in a modern environment, they all need to interact with each other to fulfill their purpose. These hybrid environments place completely new demands on the connections between users, applications, and processes. Frends is a flexible software that connects systems to create a unified solution. Stockholm House of Culture & City Theatre's development team builds the integrations and enlists the help of Frends for expert support and quality assurance.
"Frends has met all our expectations. With the help of Frend's integration platform, we can ensure a seamless and secure connection between our various IT components, which creates greater flexibility for us. It also feels safe and flexible that Frends has staff on-site in Stockholm and that they use proven technology," says Andreas Eriksson, CIO / CDO at Stockholm House of Culture & City Theatre.
Stockholm House of Culture & City Theatre started collaborating with Frends in September last year. They started first with a demo license to try out the integration platform, and then all staff received basic training in how the service works.
"The training was great, and I am satisfied with the quick support we received from Frends during the development of new integrations. Currently, work is in full swing to develop integrations in Frends that connect our new ticket system with CRM and HR systems. We also plan to integrate our planning system with our digital signage platform via Frends to visualize all our events and their data flexibly," says Alexander Ragge, operations and administration manager at Stockholm House of Culture & City Theatre.
