Savings Banks' Union (Säästöpankkiliitto) was searching for an integration platform to handle system integrations and service layer APIs in an agile and cost-effective manner. With the help of integrations, the aim was to build solutions to be able to market and do experiments faster and with a lower threshold.
Savings Banks' Union has been particularly pleased with the speed with which integrations and APIs are done with Frends. This is made possible by platform’s low-code approach, where APIs and process automation are developed visually. Process control is also done in the same visual way, making operations more efficient. Costs also remain moderate in terms of both implementation and use. Savings Banks' Union estimates that Frends is clearly ahead of other iPaaS competitors in terms of process engine reliability and simplicity of implementation. Moreover, the support and maintenance services are part of the frends eiPaaS license, ensuring overall business continuity.
Savings Banks' Union also sees Frends as the hyperautomation platform of the future - that is, as a link between integration platform, software robotics (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI). By connecting all the process automation in the same place, it's easy to achieve great efficiency benefits.
